Welcome to Beach Shuffle...
with the Swim With Me line by Benartex

I love the simplicity of this pattern. Whip up the Beach Shuffle quilt in a weekend by chain piecing easy blocks.

This is a great quilt pattern for any 1 yard panel.

Do you test your seam allowance?
Using scraps, cut 3 rectangles 2 ½” wide x 6 ½” long. Sew them together on the long sides. Then, press & measure. The piece should measure 6 ½” square. If it measures less than 6 ½” (sewn width) adjust your seam allowance to a scant ¼”.

I don’t know if I lucked out, or that Benartex panels are super straight (<—), but the Swim With Me panel was really easy to square up. First I folded it in half and used the half measurements to cut it with the rulers I had on hand. Then, I realized it was nearly exactly 3/4″ from the dark blue line, giving a consistent “sky” space all of the way around.
